The Kootenays, specifically Rossland drew her in and sunk it’s claws into her. Stéphanie paints with bold strokes and raging colour on both canvas and the slope. Her effortless energetic style shines through in her brushwork and her skiing.

In 2016, Stéphanie’s exceptional artistic talent caught the attention of the Royal Canadian Mint, leading to her to be commission to illustrate a series of four images for "The Canadian Landscape Series." The Mint recognized Gauvin's unique ability to create artwork that aligned perfectly with the project's vision, making her the perfect choice for the job.
